Leora Out Loud

“I try to see humor where other people see frustration, and whenever I can find something to laugh at, I will”

-Leora Finkelstein

Hi, I’m Leora.

I started this blog because I wished for a slower corner of the internet.

Social media started to feel exhausting with its endless scrolling, algorithms, hooks, metrics, and the pressure to fit meaningful thoughts into a few seconds to catch someone’s eye before they moved on to the next thing. I wanted a place where I could breathe a little. A place to write for the sake of writing. Getting my perspective on the world out there without the pressure of performing on social media.

So this blog is that space. My corner of the internet, where I invite you to share in my perspective.

Here you’ll find stories and reflections about motherhood, life in Israel, personal growth, everyday chaos, and the little moments in life that I refuse to let pass me by. I try to see humor where other people see frustration, and whenever I can find something to laugh at, I will.

Life lately is loud, occasionally ridiculous, and rarely predictable. Between raising two young girls, navigating Israeli life, random kitchen dance parties, and trying to live my life intentionally, there always seems to be something worth writing down.

More than anything, I want this blog to be a bright spot on the internet. A slower, gentler place to pause for a few minutes and read something thoughtful, funny, honest, or familiar. Like chatting with a friend over coffee without leaving the house.

I’m glad you’re here.
